
Our Story
Move to Movement was established in 2024 by Lucy Jean Burge, Following a successful career in children's Entertainment, including touring worldwide as a Wiggly dancer alongside The Wiggles. Lucy's passion for sharing the joy of dance and music with children from diverse backgrounds led her to fulfill her dream of creating a company dedicated to spreading her love of dance to as many students as possible. Lucy's desire to reach and connect with students from all walks of life grew stronger which is where Move 2 Movement was created. Lucy has created Move 2 Movement in the hope that it will provide a space where students can express their creativity through movement and music in a fun, exciting and engaging way.

Founder/Director

With a decade of experience dancing alongside The Wiggles, as Dance Captain and Wiggly Dancer, our founder and director, Lucy Jean Wiggan, carries a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for sharing the joy of dance with children worldwide.
Lucy is a seasoned dancer and choreographer with over 27 years of experience in various genres including including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre, ballroom, highland, and Irish dance. She graduated from the McDonald College of Performing Arts and completed full-time at ED5 International.
For the past decade, Lucy toured globally with "The Wiggles" as a Wiggly Dancer and dance captain, featuring in DVDs, Netflix series, and live productions. Her credits also extend to contracts with Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.
Lucy has collaborated with the Director of the Sydney Dance Company, Ramon Doringo, as Assistant Choreographer, and led choreography for events like the Sydney International Boat Show and Sydney Dance Company Dance Noir, as well as working on the creative team for the Opening Ceremony of the Netball World Cup directing, choreographing, and working with over 600 performers.
Recently, Lucy returned from a successful tour with the Emma Memma show.
In-between travel, Lucy has had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students and adults in high schools, primary schools, open adult classes, and workshops in various dance styles and is extremely passionate about empowering children and adults through dance.
